Don Walker has been in the automobile sales business for more than 35 years in the Denver Metro area.
Virlie Walker
Virlie Walker is a licensed retail sales agent for Walker Investments, LLC.Our Community Involvement
Virlie is a volunteer Ombudsman at a local assisted living facility in Wheat Ridge, CO serving the residents and staff as an advocate for them when needed. She is also an Ambassador for the Arvada Chamber of Commerce where she and Don have many opportunities to interact with other local entrepreneurs and independent business owners. They also participate in the Arvada Biz Connection, a weekly informal networking group. Each person who attends this group pays a small fee each week which is donated to a local charity at the end of each quarter. The Arvada Biz Connection has funded donations to the Arvada Community Food Bank, Bridgeway Home for Pregnant Teens, Bessie’s Hope, a group that matches youth with elders, Assisted Cycling Tours, a group that provides family biking experiences for disabled or handicapped youth.
Don plays the drums in the Jeffco Community Band and the Sentimental Sounds Swing Band. The Swing Band, which plays old music from the “Big Band Era” plays at nursing homes and assisted living facilities as well as a few other local venues. All the band members are volunteers and participate for the love of the music.
Don and Virlie believe that giving back to the community is as important as providing good service to their customers.

Don Walker has served on the board of the Colorado Independent Auto Dealers Association, for 13 years. Don is currently serving as Chairman of the Executive Board for the Association. He is also a member of the training team for dealers where he advocates the use of video in all social media markets. Don uses video in his on-line ads, and it is an effective tool to introduce potential buyers to a vehicle.
